Firestone’s presence at the 1933 World Fair in Chicago was basically an entire factory, showing their tire-making process from beginning to end. Here’s another card of the entrance:
And a pamphlet touting their famous gum-dipped process:
The layout and type are about exactly what you’d expect, but what surprises me about all three of these is the color! Each one is really vibrant and lush. I don’t know what I expected – maybe faded and wrinkled?
Also, are those fountains spewing lava? No….
