Being part of “The World”, beer naturally has a place at World’s Fairs. In 1982, a Knoxville World’s Fair Beer was released in six different colored cans. You could collect them all, or apparently you could sample one and decide that it wasn’t worth the effort – the beer was by most accounts pretty awful. Still, cool cans:
This picture comes from a page with a pretty great account of a trip to the 1982 Fair.
Schaefer Beer set up a huge restaurant/bar at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York. This promotional video was created a year after the fact, but the end of it focuses on the World’s Fair installation. That’s a long bar!
Drink up!
